Our client, a forward-thinking renewable energy company based in the South East, is seeking a skilled Electrician with a background in renewable energy installation and maintenance to join their team on a sub-contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, EV chargers, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will work closely with project managers and clients to ensure installations are completed to high standards, meet safety regulations, and support the company's growth in sustainable energy solutions. - Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with a background in renewable energy installations (solar PV, EV chargers, BESS).
- Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, AM2, ECS registered).
- Knowledge of current electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics related to renewable energy systems.
- Experience installing and maintaining solar PV systems, EV charging points, and energy storage solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
